On Tuesday 16th September, Philippe Carrel, global head of business development at Thomson Reuters introduced the Thomson Reuters Valuation Risk service to a packed audience at Sibos who were still coming to terms with the implications of the events of yesterday. With the fate of some of the world's largest financial institutions uncertain, the question of 'how to manage valuation risk' has never been more topical.  Philippe's presentation stressed the need for transparency, efficiency and compliance within financial institutions whilst demonstrating how Thomson Reuters addresses these critical issues.
